A simple chess game written in C++, with a GUI from the graphics library wrapper of Bjarne Stroustrup, and fltk. The fltk libraries are precompiled in the zip file fltk.zip. The chess game can be compiled with the MINGW g++ compiler. To run the precompiled executable, download Chess.zip, which contains the executable along with the icons directory, with images of the chess pieces. Extract the file to a directory on your computer, and then you can run the executable. Win10 will be quite alarmed if you try to run this executable, since it is generally not safe to run an executable you download from the internet. If you trust this executable not to do anything nasty, then you can pick the right options when Win10 warns you not to run it. Blair Jamieson Jan. 2017
